Add Walls, Doors, Windows
Wall
1. Choose the wall type (right mouse click on the wall icon, or click on the arrow near the icon).
2. Specify the starting point on the wall by clicking left mouse button.
3. Move the cursor to the end point of the wall and do left mouse click to end.
* In order to draw vertical and horizontal walls, hold SHIFT on the keyboard.
4. Select the wall by doing left mouse click on it.
5. To specify the height of the wall, select the wall and set the required value of parameter H.
6. To change the length or position of the wall ends, select the wall and click on the green end-points. Click left mouse botton and hold it to change the position of the wall.
*You can specify the required length of the wall using keyboard also - start typing the value you need (for example - 10) and press ENTER so the wall becomes 10 meters long.
7. To avoid accidental changes, you can lock the wall (each element is locked separately). To do this, right click on the wall and select "Lock in place".
Locked wall can't be changed or moved, which is convenient for placing windows and doors. To unlock the wall, right click on it and select "Unlock".
8. To delete the wall, right click on it and select "Delete" or select a wall and press DELETE key.
Door
1. To add a door, window or doorway, right mouse click on the wall icon, or click on the arrow near the icon. Select the required object from the drop-down menu.
2. Move the selected object to the desired location and do a left mouse click.
*A door, window or doorway is inserted in the wall, so when you move the wall, all elements in the wall move too.
*To select a door, window or doorway, do a double left mouse click on it.
3. To change the size of the door, window or doorway, select the object and move green end-points.
*You can change the size of the object from the keyboard - start typing required values and then press ENTER.
4.You can change the height of the object by selecting it and changing parameter H.
5. To mirror the door, select it , do right-click on it and select "Rotate".
6. To indicate that door opens to the other side, move the yellow end-point to the other side of the door.
