- There are a few parameters, which have to be filled, when you add a new model:
Manufacturer: choose a manufacturer from the list or add a new one
Model: name of a model (only Latin symbols)
Connection: type of camera connection (IP/Analog/Hybrid)
Camera type: choose from Box/Bullet/Dome/PTZ/Set/Fixed-dome/PTZ-dome/Array
Max resolution X and Max resolution Y: camera resolution in pixels
Sensor format or Sensor size width + Sensor size height: in case the camera has a non-standard sensor format , you should enter sensor size width and sensor size height in millimeters
Aspect ratio: mostly commonly used ratios are 4:3 and 16:9
Lens changeable: lens are changeable or not
Lens included: lens included in equipment or not
Lens type: used lens type (Fixed/Vario/Zoom/Fisheye)
Focus min: the minimum possible focal length
Focus max: the maximum possible focal length
The next three fields are related to each other, as well as with the fields Focus min and Focus max. Fields are mainly intended for cameras with non-standard angles, because the program has a built-in function for calculating angles.
Lens:
For Fixed-type lenses:
a) one lens can be specified (2.8)
Focus min and Focus max in this case are the same and equal to 2.8
b) If there is one model with different lenses, a set of lenses can be specified. In this case, lenses are divided by ; (2.8; 6; 8).
Focus min and Focus max in this case are respectively equal to 2.8 and 8.
For Vario or Zoom lenses
a) use ~ to specify lens, if there is only one range(3~12)
Focus min and Focus max in this case are respectively equal to 3 and 12
b) there may be several lens ranges, which are divided with ; (3~12; 8~32)
Focus min and Focus max in this case are respectively equal to 3 and 32
For Fisheye lenses
set the lens (1.6)
Focus min and Focus max in this case are the same and equal to 1.6
AngleH (horizontal angle of view):
For Fixed-type lenses:
a) if one lens is specified (2.8)
so one angle corresponding to this objective (115) is specified
b) if a set of lenses is specified (2.8; 6; 8)
for each lens from this set angles are specified in the same order, in which they are specified in the field lens, divided by ; (115;90;30) (2.8 with angle 115, 6 with angle 90, 8 with angle 30)
For Vario or Zoom lenses
a) for one range (3~12) specify angles divided by ~, where the first angle value corresponds to the smaller focal length, and the second value corresponds to the larger (98~35)
b) for several ranges of lenses (3~12;8~32) angles for each range are specified in the same order, in which they are specified in the field lens, divided by (118~40;90~18)
For Fisheye lenses
specify the angle for lens (360)
AngleV (vertical angle of view):
For Fixed, Vario and Zoom angles are specified in the same way as the horizontal angles.
- For PTZ cameras or Fish-eye cameras the parameters of Pan range and Tilt range should also be set.
